Who is Nulland Voidman?
There is so much I could tell you about this stoic yet benevolent entity know as Nulland Voidman, who provides me, Mark Goldsmith (Owner/Designer) a mere mortal with the drive, inspiration and spirit to bring the vision to life. I am just a vessel of the creativity that comes from the endless void of the infinite that is the Voidman. So, who is Nulland? Nobody special, just someone who does it out of the love of doing it. Someone who isn't too worried about controlling everything because they understands life isn't so bad. Be good too people, don't punch down, do the best you can, and simply let people be happy doing what makes them happy. Simply put focus on what brings you joy and put it in the work, it doesn't have to be for everyone, it doesn't have to be perfect, mistakes will be made. Do the work and keep going, bring meaning and joy to yourself by doing your best, and you can make from literally nothing, something meaningful that can bring others joy. That is the way of Nulland Voidman.
What is Nulland Voidman all about?
Exploring and finding beauty in the infinity chaos of forever. Experiencing the moment in the moment. Exercising freedom through creative exploration. Sharing joy and love selflessly, excluding no one. Doing things for the joy of the journey, not a defined destination. Sticking to a vision regardless of opposition. Continually failing to make forward progress. As for the brand, I hope to create something compelling and eye catching, a little trippy, but tasteful, hopefully nothing to crazy or tacky, but that's possible too. I have no idea were the journey will take me. The joy of design, is playing with the infinite array of possibilities, and trying to find your niche. The challenge of trying to create something fresh and present more and more options for people, brings me joy.
When did Nulland Voidman Start?
The brand itself was established June, 26, 2023. Although, I have been designing and creating art for people, for many years, in various formats. I have learned a few things over the years, so I decided I should just put my own concept out and see where I can take it. Nulland Voidman, came to me as an alter ego, as a personification of the continual drive to create something from nothing, regardless of how hopeless it may seem, keep doing it. So I got some paper work done and got, Nulland Voidman, established, and have been trying to figure things together ever since. I plan to continue putting forth the best I can in term of providing a variety of unique options. It is still early in my journey in terms of establishing my brand, but one has to start some where. I am making personal progress learning how all this works. As well as pushing the boundaries of my personal artistic journey.
How does Nulland Voidman Operate?
It is only a one man operation. The designs are created using a variety of production software, sourcing imagery from personal photographs, old no longer copywritten books (if for some reason that is not the case and I get a cease and desist, I will comply, but doubt it, I generally use obscure items or book linings....anyway), hand drawn art, scans of paintings. and procedurally generated textures. No art is created or sourced using AI prompting, I don't feel one way or the other about its use, Its just not how I personally go about making things. The art of Nulland Voidman is a process of experimentation and discovery. I am not sure how it will change and evolve, but that's the joy of the journey.
As for the business side of things, I currently have this website as my home base of operation. I have my designs created on demand, the time in delivery may be a little longer, but the product is quality, and it allows me to create many more options with out the overhead. I order samples of every product I sell, not every design but can attest to the quality be good. All shipping is included in the price, so there are no surprises.
