The new Master shredder sweater
Graphic Explanation
What's with the images on the T-shirts?
This is a question I assume most people ask. I think the all over patterns make sense to most people, but the imagery on the T-shirts may be a bit confusing. I created these in the first month or so of creating the brand. I enjoy looking though books of old (pre-1920) and began coming across graphics that spoke to me for one reason or another. So I cleaned as many as I could and settled on a few that I enjoyed most. I catalog all the sources for those interested. Below you get a better idea about what the graphic represents in the eyes of Nulland Voidman.
AXIOM
An axiom is a statement that is taken to be true, but how long does it last? When a new truth is learned, it cuts through the old presumption like an axe. No matter how beautiful the premise was before, a new axiom must be crafted. Sometimes finding truth is not about learning more but chopping away the things that do not serve you.

BREATHE LIFE
The endless cycle of life and death. As one takes their last breathe, many are taking their first breathe. Whether it be new life or old life anew, is up for debate. What's not debatable is life feeds off life in order to sustain itself. That is just the nature of reality. Some find it beautiful, some are fearful, and many others are indifferent. This design may not be for everyone but I think some may dig it like a grave.

ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
Too many times, we behave as if the elephant is non-existent, but deep down we know what's not being addressed. So what ever your elephant is, even if you have to eat it one bit at a time, face it, otherwise, you will continue to get trampled.

FANTASY FOLIAGE
When I saw this and read about its origin, a sketch in reference to the Cremorne Gardens that flourished between 1845-1877. It was probably a lovely place, but it don't always last forever and returning can only be done by fantasy as every special place eventually gets lost in the obscurity of time. Enjoy the moments in the moment. Take it all in.

GOVERN
This one might be a little more edgy then most of what I have to offer. This was an image of political debate from a time long before it could be televised. What does it mean to govern? What is this freedom we wish to achieve? Can freedom really be called freedom, if it requires taking some one else's freedom away? Who is to say what is the proper path forward, that's up for debate. This graphic is purposed to highlight the intensity of political discourse.

Graveyard Boogie
Life is short, but we all get stuck in the daily grind. This is just a reminder to enjoy the dance that is this life, before it passes you by. Boogie down until you in the ground! Keep grooving until you're not moving! If you intend to keep it shaking until you can't be awakened, then this is the shirt for you!

Have a laugh
Laughter, It truly is the best medicine. I stumbled upon this in a Japanese satire magazine. Not sure what it was about, but I found the image to have a happy ska punk rock feel to it. Its all about feeling good and enjoying the absurdity of life. So keep it light and keep it fun, and have a laugh everyday.

Head and Foot
This one may be lost in translation, but it seems to be as if a healthy debate is happen, between two folks who seem to have different understandings on life. I can only imagine the story of my feet is quite different that that of my hands. Who would have a better story to tell? We all get into debates with ourselves and others, it's nice if we can keep them healthy and fruitful.

In Bloom
Flowers have always represented impermanence, that is why they are valuable. As the taller flowers begin to fall, new flowers begin to bloom. We all get our chance to reach for in the sun, and what we leave will get fed back to those currently growing. I wonder if garden grows forever, how can it be considered impermanent? Show some sun shine to those still growing, and maybe we can keep this whole thing going.

In the Box
What's in the box? It's one of those timeless questions. Throughout my life and currently, I have had many boxes, filled with things special to me. Everyone at one point or currently has had a box they filled with there most special items. So I wanted to represent that as well as beg the question? What's in box?

Master Yogi
First recorded history of break dancing? Maybe. Regardless, Master Yogi doesn't care how ridiculous it looks doing it. Neither should you, as long as you keep stretching for it, you can slowly but surely achieve mastery in whatever you do.

Moon People
Many moons ago, life seemed to have more mystery, as people could only speculate. Before they put a man on the moon, someone with a telescope, proclaimed to see the moon people. Who is to say they didn't? So whether you live on the moon, or just love the moon so much we could call you a lunatic. So if your a space case like me, this ones for you.

Pane in the glass
Many years ago, I had made a joke at a valentines day weekend art event hosted by a fairly well know artist, and we made prints using old window panes from his home. When my wife and I went to get the pane and bring it to our table, I made the obvious comment "hopefully these won't be a pane in the glass to carry" and well it got a good laugh from the host. Sometimes you just got to have pun with it.

Play your card
We all get dealt a hand in life, some better than others. What ever your hand, play the cards right, and you can get a better hand. One just has to be careful not to get tricked by another's slight of hand. This is a reminder of that, so keep a poker face and an ace on deck, and remember sometimes you got to hold them, some times you have to fold them.

Scavenger
There have been time's where I had to scavenge just to get by, until I got in a better position for growth. Some say the vulture is symbolic of greed, desperation, and opportunism. Many because of the role they place in the transference from life to death. I find they are more symbolic of purification, patience, and new beginnings. Sometimes we must kill an old state of being, and let go of things that no longer serve us.

Still Fly
When I was younger, my uncle who was known to be the artist of the family, would always say to me "What you drawing.....fly's? Cuz you stink!" It was a playful joke that always stuck with me. So, when I was coming up with design ideas, this one was obvious. Fact is, I always been and I am still fly. It's always a good idea to talk yourself up are remind yourself how awesome you are. So remember to stay fly my guy!
The Struggle
Life is hard sometimes and it can feel like everyone's pulling on you, while you are just crawling to survive. The struggle is real, but we all have to keep striving forward and continue to make progress. Regardless of those who holding you back and trying to pull from your strength. Remember, you are still stronger even if your only inching forward.

Thank you
Too those who read through and learned a little bit more about what the inspiration was, Nulland Voidman appreciates you. Time is sacred, thank you for spending a little bit of yours to check out Nulland Voidman.
Like all products I drop these are limited to 250 per color per size. Their are 6 different colors to choice from. If I end up with a bunch of smalls or extra larges, I may redistribute those quantities to other sizes, but the limit will stay the same.
